Afni Restasari has won the best Presenter Award at IC-3PE in Indonesia. Afni is a PhD student from Indonesia supervised by Wei Tan and James Busfield. Her the top prize was awarded for a talk on a new bio-inspired self-healing polyurethane-urea that she has been working on in SEMS. Her talk was coauthored by Keizo Akutagawa, Anureet Kaur and Rich Spontak.

James Busfield noted that it was a great opportunity for Afni to present this work at an international conference which hosted in her home country and the whole supervisory group was delighted that Afni’s work got this prestigious recognition.
