We are hiring for an Organ-chip Research Technician

Professor Knight and Professor Screen are currently advertising for a hard-working research technician with excellent organizational skills and practical expertise in cell culture and related laboratory techniques to help run our organ-chip facility. The successful candidate will work closely with our researcher team and other technicians, supporting experiments, training users and maintaining our facilities. These include an expanding range of platforms from companies such as Emulate, Mimetas and CN-Bio, as well as our in-house systems.

Queen Mary is one of the leading institutions for organ-chip research and development, hosting the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models (www.cpm.qmul.ac.uk) and the new EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Organ-on-a-chip Technology.

In the last UK Research Excellence Framework (REF21) Queen Mary and was ranked joint 7th in the UK for the quality of research.
