We're pleased to announce that our BEng Design, Innovation and Creative Engineering programmes have been accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED).

The IED is the premier membership body representing engineering and product designers. Successful completion of our BEng course means students will fully meet the academic requirements for registration as a Registered Product Designer, and partially meet the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

Membership of the IED and registration as a professional designer, and/or engineer is confirmation of outstanding ability in each field.

The IED says its members comment that this ‘stamp of approval’ helps them find employment and gain promotion.

Membership also offers networking opportunities, a bi-monthly journal, access to the IED library, continuing professional development and more.
