Queen Mary Formula Student Team competed brilliantly at the IMechE FSUK competition at Silverstone this past weekend. The team brought the first QMUL build in 5 years and managed to achieve the 2nd best team from London just 5 points (on a scale out of 1000) behind Brunel University.

Some notable points include a 2nd place for the Formula Class Cost and Manufacturing (the QMUL previous best was 47th). Also our new EV Concept placed 9th overall, exceeding expectations as it was our first ever EV design.

To build a car this year in the formula class this year reflects the incredible dedication of the students on the team. Well done all of you. The team look forward to meeting up with anyone on campus next Monday (31st July) to view the car and meet the team in G25, Engineering Building.
