The four main streams in SEMS (Aerospace, Mechanical, Medical and Materials) all now have their own Industrial Advisory Boards and the first full round of meetings was launched during the afternoon of the recent Industrial Liaison Forum in October 2015.

Currently 36 industrialists (from companies including Jaguar, RollsRoyce, DePuy, Ford, Cameron, Alcoa, Airbus & BAe systems) have so volunteered to help support IABs and their work to develop our curriculum to ensure that our students are well prepared for graduate employment in the future.

It was particularly impressive that 31 of the IAB partners participated in this round of meetings
