The research showcase was again held this year as part of the Industrial Liaison Forum in October 2015. There were more than 90 entrants this year for competition and this year the 3 winners were Federica Ongaro working on “Hierarchical Composite Cellular Materials” supervised by Ettore Barbieri and Nicola Pugno, Richard Windslow working on “Rapid Gas Decompression Elastomer Seals” supervised by James Busfield and Adam Marinovic working on “Advance Carbon Materials from Waste for Renewable Energy Applications” supervised by Magda Titirici. One of the prizes was funded by ARTIS again this year and the other two prize came from the college prize fund. Congratulations are offered to all three.
