Jia Ma and Wei Tu have a new baby girl, Jiayi, born on the 17th January, weighing 3.1 kg. Mother and baby are both doing well. Jia was an undergraduate Materials student and also spend three years with us as a teaching assistant. She is now writing up her PhD with Ton Peijs and Gleb Sukhorukov as her supervisors. Jia's husband, Wei Tu was also both an undergraduate and postgraduate student in SEMS, whom she met at QM, and who is currently working at Nanoforce.
