We are delighted to announce the successful hosting of the inaugural event of the Queen Mary Centre for Undergraduate Research (QMCUR) at Queen Mary University of London in the Octagon on January 24th. The event garnered attendance from both staff and students, who were thoroughly impressed by the insightful presentations delivered by the undergraduate board team of QMCUR.

Highlighting the occasion was an introductory lecture on epistemology presented by Enrico Gigantino (2nd Year Chemical Engineering) and Noah Leigh (2nd Year Aerospace Engineering).

The centre aims to highlight the excellent research conducted by undergraduate students. Currently based in the School of Engineering and Materials Science, the centre aims to expand and eventually highlight undergraduate research globally.

Further exciting events are planned for the coming months. The events will provide other opportunities for everyone to meet our outstanding team of researchers and participate in enriching discussions. This year, students will also be presenting their research at conferences throughout London and the UK. Find out more on the website.
